Well, here we are, into week one! Let the games begin? Let the fun start? Something like that! 😉
I went shopping for food we could eat, and it was pretty easy figure out what we COULD have. It’s been fun to use vegetables that we wouldn’t normally eat, although I do miss the avocado.
Our meals have been pretty simple, too. Here’s a few examples:
- Sauteed chicken breast, with rosemary and lemon, sea salt. With quinoa and squash.
- Chicken breast, with tomato sauce, garlic powder, sea salt, split peas, and pineapple.
- Ground beef, with spirlized zucchini, oregano, sea salt, garlic, nutritional yeast.
These have all been widely received, which has surprised me!
I DO have to confess, that we’ve had a few things on the no-no list, but just once or twice, and then back to what we should be eating.
